Character Height:5'6"-appears taller than this due to the way she holds herself.
Character Hair:Dark brown and slightly wavy with faint red highlights. It falls just beneath her shoulders, although she usually wears it in a ponytail, so as to keep it out of her face.
Character Build: June is built like a professional swimmer-in fact, she had been one for a brief time, till she grew bored and moved on. Her long life hasn't left her without scars though. Two dominate her face, with one across the bridge of her nose and another, fainter one,vertically across her lips .
Character Clothes: In an attempt to blend in with modern society, she has taken up wearing skinny jeans, plain t-shirts, and jackets of varying design and material(her favorite is a beaten vintage bomber jacket). As for shoes, she prefers boots or sneakers-whatever works will do.
Personality:When one has been around as long as June has, one tends to become jaded, which is the case with June. Despite this, she is known to be a sociable person once she begins to open up and let loose. Having a sarcastic sense of humor and all-around off putting attitude, few people get to know her well enough to discover her friendlier side.
Character Job:She describes herself as self-employed, but in reality she is currently unemployed. When she does hang around in an area long enough, June will take on odd-jobs as a hired hand, delivery girl or mercenary should the opportunity present itself.
Other:Being a drifter, she owns few worldly possessions. June had a house, once, but she sold it the moment she could. Having no house, she sees no point in owning a car, although she rents one when the need arises.Also she has an Irish accent, although she tends to suppress it; it tends to come out in moments of anger.

Training:June, having grown up in a mostly non-magic and superstitious community who feared anything out of the ordinary, is mostly self-trained although she received limited training from drifters who happened to pass through her small town. As a result her technique is one she derived through continuous trial and error and is rough around the edges.

Weaponry:Besides her magic, she makes sure to keep a switchblade on hand wherever she goes.
The past.
History: On a frigid February, a bouncing baby girl was born. Her parents named her Nadine. In the small house in the marshes of Ireland, the family resided mostly undisturbed until Nadine's father took ill suddenly and passed away in his sleep. Left to fend for themselves, Nadine and her mother struggled to make ends meet in their small village. As she grew older, Nadine began to long for something more, something beyond the small village and green grasses.
As soon as she was able, she left the small nameless village behind and made her way to Dublin.There she gradually unlocked her potential as an Elemental. Meeting mentors along the way, Nadine soon took the name June Fortis. Eventually her wanderlust took her away from Ireland completely and to England, North America and countless other places.
Today, she resides in a musty motel room somewhere in Dublin, taking odd-jobs to support her lifestyle as a drifter.
Additional Notes:Even though she puts up a strong front, she goes to great pains to disguise her fear of the dark, avoiding anywhere without a source of light as much as she can.

How did you find the site: I found the website through an advertisement on the Underground proboards website, where I've been Rping for a while now.
How many characters do you have: One
How far have you gotten in the series: So far I've only read the first book, but I enjoyed it very much. Sadly enough, I've had difficulties in getting my hands on the other books, but I'm still looking.
RP Sample: Groaning, she rolled out of her lumpy bed and onto the equally uneven floor. For a moment she simply lay there, pulling the tangled bedsheets closer to her body. A shiver rolled through her slender body as she cracked open her eyes and found the source of the chill entering her room; an open window, letting in the early morning chill.
"Sonuva.."June's voice, still thick with sleep, was incoherent even to her own ears. With an impatient flick of her wrist, the window slammed shut, cutting off the flow of freezing air into her cramped motel room."There, god." Standing up, she let the bedsheets crumple to the floor in a heap. An audible 'crack' issued from her neck and stretched out the cramps, wandering over to the open suitcase that lay at the base of her lumpy bed.
"Looks clean, I guess." Her words went unanswered as she shrugged into the clothes she pulled from the suitcase. Several minutes later she exited the motel room with a sigh of relief;"How I've stayed in this dump for the last month is beyond me." Shaking her head to herself, she wandered to her latest gig.
